We, sportsmen & sportswomen, the same segment of society that provides more than 75% of the funding for the 50 state conservation agencies, have allowed anti-hunters and non-hunters to control the wildlife conservation narrative for far too long. We know the truth: Sportsmen are the largest contributors to wildlife conservation and our funding benefits all wildlife, lovers of wildlife and wild places. We just need to do a much better job of getting that factual information out to the public.
As a mission, WWC is doing that. But we cannot continue to do it without your active participation. The future of hunting needs you. WWC is your organization and it needs you. Please consider getting involved beyond the hunt. Get in the game, give something back, volunteer to work a shift at one of our "beyond the choir" public outreach events. Or, help us put on an event in your area! It is fun, it is needed, and if not you, who?
